Right of withdrawal and returns

Your cooling-off period on an order, and why it works differently for a repair.

Still under review

This text was drawn up from the arrangements we actually make, and is still being checked by the owner and his accountant. What it says matches how we work; the final wording may still change.

01Webshop orders

For accessories you order online you have fourteen days to change your mind, counted from the day you receive them. Within that period you may undo the order without giving a reason. You may examine the item as you would in a shop; if you use it further, we can deduct the loss in value.

02How to do it

Let us know within those fourteen days — a call, a message or an email is enough, no form is needed. Then send the item back within fourteen days, or bring it to the store.

03Getting your money back

You get your money back within fourteen days of telling us, including the standard postage you paid on the order. We may wait until we have the item back, or until you have shown that you sent it.

04The cost of sending it back

If you bring the item back to the store yourself, it costs you nothing. If you post it, get in touch before you send it — then we agree how to do it.

05A repair is not the same as a product

A repair is a service, and different rules apply to it than to an ordered item. You also have fourteen days to change your mind about a service bought at a distance — but if you ask us to start immediately and the repair is finished within that period, that right lapses. That is why we ask explicitly at booking whether we may start straight away.

06When it does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to parts ordered specially for your device, or to sealed items whose seal has been broken. It equally does not apply to a repair already carried out at your request — see above.
